QPR Suicide Prevention Training

EveryMind is proud to offer virtual Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) Suicide Prevention training sessions aimed at equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools to make a difference in the lives of those at risk of suicide. These QPR Suicide Prevention training sessions are especially valuable for parents, caregivers, educators, and anyone who plays a role in a young person’s life.

What Is QPR Training?

QPR is a research-based program that teaches participants how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, and more importantly, how to take action. Just as CPR helps save lives in a medical emergency, QPR can save lives in a mental health crisis.

This program empowers individuals to:

  • Question a person about their feelings and intentions.
  • Persuade them to seek help and keep them safe.
  • Refer them to appropriate support services, such as mental health professionals.
