Friendly Visitor Program
Our Friendly Visitor program provides friendship and emotional support to older adults (age 60+) in Montgomery County who are homebound, isolated, and lonely to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation, help individuals remain connected to their community, and maintain a safe home environment.
In the Friendly Visitor program, clients are matched with a trained volunteer who shares similar interests. The volunteer visits for one hour per week to engage in conversation and develop a connection that can last a lifetime.
